Life Comparison
a preacher looks through his looking glass
on his sermon he takes grate care
people picknick on the grass
to their life i do compare
a teacher reads aloud to her class
children in a circle stare
old widow woman walks to mass
to their life i do compare
a soldier sets batallion flag to half mast
the royal guard set a dare
drivers stop to watch a crash
to their life i do compare
a grupe of boys watch a lovely lass
tie up locks of her golden hair
and now that she has glided past
to their life i do compare
sailers climb a tall ships mast
to reach the crow away up there
stock the rations they hope will last
to their life i do compare
in his car he drives to fast
dog leg chicane with flowng flair
hoping that his luck will last
to his life i do compare
all these people pressent and past
for a stranger do you think they care
but each one has a touch of class
and to their lifes i do compare
