Lies and Sad Eyes

Lies and Sad Eyes Your huge eyes appear bright, blue and so sad why after all the those rich men you have had There was that guy that owned a jewelry store he gave you so much yet you stole so much more There was the dude that owned nine car lots he figured you out after I showed your spots Other cat's parents left him massive wealth you took all he had and ruined his health Your big eyes now appear swollen and so very red Told you I'd endure and torment your silly head Now you cry and moan for riches you think your due Life is about family and love yet you haven't a clue I gave my all and everything hence you never learned to love Karma bites you while rewarding blessings for me ever since from above Robert Lindley, Nov, 10th, 2002 Oldie from centuries ago it seems.

Self absorption never fills you up. It's one of those conundrums every one learns sooner or later, hopefully.

There are three types of karma, one is constructive other is destructive and the last one is neutral. God has given everything to us. One who knows the mystery of love, he never misses to construct. 7 i feel. An excellent poem read from you my lovely friend. Loved always,bl

Wow Robert, I read what you explained to Andrea and money can't buy love. To be truly happy one must give love in return. Karma does win out, even if it takes many years. I enjoyed your poem. 7

Thank you Dr. Ram. That "ole wheel of justice" may grind so very painfully slow but it also grinds ever so exceedingly fine. Karma indeed!

Robert. you are funny saying from centuries ago. That is when i first started being a poet. Just before you wrote this poem in 2002!! I like this but I didn't get the wording of "cat's parents". Are you using the slang term for a man. like a cool cat? did you really know a woman like this. I would love to have met a rich man, but only the bitches seem to get them!!! she deserves sad eyes!!

She went for the money, I was the honey. Now she is rich and miserable while I am broke and so damn happy!!!!! Karma is a real bitch , she has now found that out the hard way. I smile every time I think about it. lol

Yes my friend , I knew her since I was once married to her. Yes "cat's" parents the "cat' is slang for dude. Centuries ago means so long ago because that is now a very, very distant and horrible past life! She was truly a bitch and she is now married to a man worth just a tad over 70 million
