Liar, Liar
Liar, liar, pants on fire
You are one that I admire
Sitting on a telephone wire
Watching as your words conspire
Lies tend to hurt and lies tend to sting
Truth is preferred before everything
It’s abnormal the way you lie
To you, truth seems not to apply
You say enough just to get by
And always end up the bad guy
Lies are used by cowards afraid
The truth is always what they evade
What’s done in darkness comes to light
It’s amazing how you take delight
In hurting everyone outright
Karma’s coming; it’s just not right
Lies are not welcome here at my door
Truth is something I always ask for
Your lies are big, your lies are small
Your lies will become your downfall
When you’re down, don’t look up at all
I won’t be here when you choose to call
Lies don’t speak well of your character
Truth will always keep you the victor
Fiery lies burning your bridges
Has you now sleeping in ditches
The truth from now on you should mention
Truth hurts less if you pay attention.
