Let the Sun Rise

I hope that the sun will rise again, and bring the light, to this darkest night, set me free, I want to smile again, this night is long, I haven't seen day for so long, I want to feel the kiss of the sun, as it shines onto my face, I want to end the cold stare of the moon, as it gazes eternally on my face, let the sun rise, and let me be free, of this cold night, with no warmth in sight, let me run, with the sun's warmth upon my back, give to me what the moon does lack, give me the feeling of joy, which I've never felt before.
