Let It Be Tonight

Let it be tonight my aching arms with you are filled Let it be tonight this longing heart to love is thrilled Let it be tonight these sullen tears that glide subside Let it be tonight these dreams of yours to mine confide Let it be tonight these hurting lips savor your balm Let it be tonight these raven curls feel finger psalm Let it be tonight these breasts are bared and tasted sweet Let it be tonight these thighs provide a luscious treat Tonight, my love, oh let it be tonight That you and I make love till morning light! This is overwhelming beauty and longing Eileen, pouring over and devouring all other of life's prioritites. To unleash desire from Wish's manackles so to embrace and taste passion so rich, this entreaty hurries the heart of all who know this truest of Need. This poem is a luscious treat! " These hurting lips savor your balm...The raven curls feel finger psalm" magic! J.A.B. FAV.

Love is tricky, You need the power and aggressiveness of a mountain lion, guised by the patience's and stillness of a household cat. But you're right, to get it you have to want it and if you want it you have to say it.

Jerry, I like how you tried to strike a balance there between the mountain lion and the cat. Seriously...men should realize that feline's are temperamental. GO WITH THE FLOW! Men, on the other hand. They are a whole other ball game. It's all about the chase...Once they have your heart...they take it for granted. Generalizations, true, but something to think about. Thanks for the post.

Thank you for this post, Richard. I'm late to answer, I'm sorry. My mind has been wandering. Beyoncé sings a song that just really gets to me..."why don't you love me, baby baby, why don't you love when I make me so damn easy to love. I got beauty, I got class, I got style and I got.... ***, but you don't even care to care." I really love that song. Oh...got carried away. Thanks for the post! ;)

This creative write reminded me of the only past girlfriend I had that wrote poetry too. Strange we had that in common and lasted such a very brief time. "Let it be tonight these breasts are bared and tasted sweet Let it be tonight these thighs provide a luscious treat" ^^^^^ Pure poetic gold!!!!
