Learning That Love Is Best Kept Eternally Near

Walking down the stairs I look back to see your face Wondering in my heart why I ever leave this place Searching your eyes for that glimmer from the heart Lips saying farewell tares my soul ever apart Step by step feeling alone deep inside My pace slows as I lengthen the lonely divide Ending at the gate I can take no more Turning around and running for the door Busting through and loosing my breath The kiss from you brings me back from certain death Cling you close brings a joy of a tear learning that love is best kept eternally near
