Lead Me Through New Year
Lead Me Through New Year
It was like a flood gate over flowing;
All of the things well-worth knowing,
God put on earth in a proper place
For each member of His human race.
God was aware from very beginning
Would be chaos with much sinning
To be equally spread amongst us all
Kingdoms rise up while others fall.
We grow older and reach our each peak
Throughout our lives God we would seek
Before His feet ourselves we did throw
Whatever we did we want Him to know.
So take this poem and use as a prayer;
God help us to assist people everywhere;
Must share good news Jesus was here
Saving us from sin and removing all fear.
Hallelujah, Rejoice and Amen.

Retired Veteran and Poet
Motivated by sonnet written by
Andrea Dietrich about a new year.
And remember: "May the hopes
and fears of all the years be here
with you tonight." Oh, Little Town
of Bethlehem.
