Lead Me Back To You

Search me through and through Please God lead back to you With a heavy heart I bow my head I need you to raise me from the dead Oh God, please lead me back to you Take my heart and lead me back to you I'm so tired of being consumed by darkness, You are the light, please shine in my brokenness. Search me through and through And just lead me back to you Please hear my cry, I'm almost out of tears, Release me from all of my fears. Humbly l ask that you lead me back to you I can't do it on my own, I'm feeling so sad and blue. If you are willing please lead me back to you. Alexis Y. 07-20-16 Author's note- I normally don't write poems of this nature, but this is what I felt compelled to write.

The question my dearest, Alexis, is not if our Lord is willing to lead us back to Him BUT if we are willing to be led back to Him! You see dear friend, the lot of every soul is to live within God's embrace for this reason our Lord is elated when we seek refuge in Him. The fact you felt writing this poem means that your soul has seen the light. Keep it up and the road to Him will become illuminated so for you to see! Excellent! A seven! Bless you!
