Last Call
He feels lighter,
as though the world
has lost gravity. He
can see himself
walking,
but can't feel his legs.
People around him
pass him by,
as though he's invisible-
or is he!
The only people
who seem to know him
are the loved ones
he once knew-people
whose names
appear in tombstones!
They called him in dreams
and visions;
they lastly called him
as he touched his chest.....
