Lady In Pink

She fell down but she's on her way back up she was kinda wishin' life didn't have to be so tuff now she understand things happen for a reason but no matter what it only last for a season she sits there with blank stares wrapped in pink streaming tears run the length of her face as she starts to think whos gonna be there to comb my baby girls hair who can i trust to make sure my little boy grows up into a man prepared for the world that's all that's on her mind her little boy and girl even though she gotta make through months of kemo back and forth visits with no ending nearby just knowin what she's feel would make any man with a heart cry as she rocks back and forth like she seasick yet she only just got the news she realized she aint got no time for blues gotta make preparation this might be the end then she looks up and relized this is just a season she'll make it! She fell down but she's on her way back up she was kinda wishin' life didn't have to be so tuff now she understand things happen for a reason but no matter what it only last for a season Now it looks like she might not make it no need to fake it The way she feels is written on her face and The kids can hear it in her voice as they listen closely Mommy says very little but speaks with authority It’s no fear in the stories she tells them Mommy is on her way to heaven Ms. Jenny and Mr.Thomas will be your guardian It will be a long time b4 I see you again Never blame God for taking me through the season Always remember, he did for a reason Ms. Jenny and Mr. Thomas don’t have kids of their own They’ll be blessed to welcome you into their home Be humble they said you can call them mom and dad And don’t sweat it, you will have more than you had I love you and God’s calling me for a reason Always remember life has a final season
