silk dreams
weave a path
of ancient memories
leading me towards a shared destiny
with my ancestors
blessing me with visions
they dreamt
and now I see

(sigh)....exhaling the beauty I've just taken in; meditative thoughts you've shared. My comments are not usually the poetic type but I could not help it here :) This is wonderful Jim.

One must remember their ancestors. The foundation has been laid. Naturally, it's on the shoulders of this generation to guide it in the right direction. I really like this poem. Very ethereal write here, James ... my ancestors were liars and drunks so I'm not sure I want to join them ... smile ... then again, they might laud me for the cycles I've ceased ... Your writing is a well-deserved selection to be featured this week at the Soup. Congratulations!!

This is wonderful writing. I like the spiritual undertone to this one. Sort of a chilling effect...Spirits of anestors speaking and teaching in ones dreams, I like that. Congratulations on being featured with this piece. Smiles from Lolita
