Kitty Underneath the Christmas Tree

It's an eve before christmas day, My darling can't come home yet. He said he's in the middle of a traffic, Caused of people crazy over shopping spree. I felt sadden and blue... My baby can't come on due, We'll miss the kiss in the mistletoe, No warmth hugs and "i love you's ." Twelve midnight I'm alone and sad. The expected gift still on the road, Waiting for my baby ,feels so bored. Eyes get tired and begun to close... Then all of a sudden I heard a noise. Trying to figure out what's outside the room. I saw my baby beside the christmas tree, Playing with a kitty,his surprise gift for me. *AiyaH De Torres 12/18/2013
