Kim Kardashian

Pretty used to be enough Of what I've got But now it's not Take me Pretty Only Not prettier Than her... And I know She's prettier than me And I know She's prettier than me She don't have jacked up teeth These stupid fangs That keep me up at night And you don't know why And you don't know why she's got big boobs An even bigger butt Aside from the blues What have I got What have I got? This nose Used to be so cute But now It blows up in photo shoots So big Bigger than it is Making my face worthless And I know She's prettier than me And I know She's prettier than me Pictures you take of me Pictures you see of her Keep me up at night Driving me wild You're gonna miss the way I used to talk too much at night You're gonna miss the way I walk away when you make me cry And I know she's prettier than me And I know she's prettier than me But I remember when you said I looked better than any picture...

gosh, i can't even stand this celebrity. Who cares about a big butt? pretty is as pretty does, dearie. i really like this poem though. I think it would make a fun rap song or something. Kind of like the flip side of 'All About the Bass."

Hey Andrea, thank you so much for your comment! I'm glad you liked it and that you have strong emotions attached to it. I found myself being sorry for myself one day, like we all do from time to time. I wrote this not based on one celebrity only but on our attitude towards beauty in general. I was hoping to inspire younger girls.

The title suits the message perfectly. Sometimes we get so caught up with celebrities who, most of the time, have bigger problems than us. I love the last two lines. Be blessed

Don't compare yourself to the fake girls that are all about "me".....Be yourself...that is the beauty I look for...I'd trade a 100 Kim Kardashians for a down to earth girl with morals....hugs Tim

Thank you Tim! I agree completely. Out of all the comments I feel like you really got it! I wanted to write about something I feel all women get caught up in sometimes, the fantasy of celebrity lives and our obsession with beauty. I wanted the message to be a negative one. And for other women or young girls to read it and feel not only understood but beautiful, where it counts, inside.

Joy - such a sad sad write - you are a beautiful girl - a real person not a plastic celebrity who is famous for - what - being a barbie doll with big butt and boobs - I know which type of person I would rather have in my life - you and I am sure any man worth his salt would realise this when he took the blinkers off his eyes :-) Hugs Jan xx

Thank you Jan for your comment! Natural beauty is so much more important. As well as being a real person who's persona is not based on their looks. So absolutely sad. Thank you for reading.

Rather depressing - if you do not mind me saying so! However, there is an underlying truism here i am sure of that much. :) john.

Thank John! I agree. So so depressing. Exactly the emotion I was wishing to convey. In a world that revolves around the Internet and manufactured beauty, we need to be reminded of the sad consequences of getting wrapped up in those people. Thank you for reading!
