Inspecting emptied views Of my tulip glass The ambience skews A surreal warping Turned callously crass Words lose edge In distractions gum-up Jaded rebellion Heart says give up I laugh As another cork erupts Languages absence Would thwart the corrupt Still the drunkards sing Voices echoed to space Bellowing ballads Is man's natural grace
