Just Because
Just Because
Just because we are trying to sell ourselves and poetry
Doesn't mean we have to do it for a profit.
Tell me one famous poet who was trying to make a profit.
Trying to make a profit becomes a pitfall, obstacle and
Often removes our creativity and open mindedness.
I am writing my poems to satisfy myself and
Meet my own personal interests.
There are over 30,000 people on
www.poetrysoup.com and www.story-telling-around-the-world.com
trying to and doing the same thing.
They serve as an instigator and invigorator.
Okay, so I read another's poem and say I can do better then that.
Or, I read their poem and say that gives me an idea to write a poem about. Or receive a supportive comment increasing and Encouraging my ambition.
I will put this on www.poetrysoup.com and www.story-telling-around-the-world.com To see what they have to say about it.
I am reading and listenly closely.
I mean listening.
I have just created another word in the English Vocabulary.
