Just As It Is

Why do we grasp, always grasping? The never ending need to explain To examine, to hold onto, to possess A mystery enters us, we suddenly see But we are never satisfied, We need to hold it, own it When it leave's we talk about it Tell others, describe, explain, analyze Why can we not let it be what it is Even become that which it is But the self is too strong for that If we let go, relinquish to it Then there is no person experiencing No person to grasp or own And no person to try to explain Becoming the beauty in a sunset The fading hues of creation Will never be the same As showing you a picture I truly want you to see the sunset...
