Woke up this morning, in my home all alone Set up your picture, in the hall by the phone I glanced at the kids faces, hanging there on the wall Dropped to my knees and prayed, there in the hall I looked out in the yard, through the kitchen window Saw white and yellow tulips, blooming beside our broken home And there on the table, set the empty Easter baskets Oh!
