It's Been a Long Time Since I Was Twenty One

It’s been a long time since I was twenty one Written By Dean Masciarelli October 7, 2010 (9:25pm) It’s been a long time since I was twenty one And all of my peace signs and bell bottoms are gone But I still listen to Crosby Still’s and Nash and Young And the Allman brothers band and Stevie Ray Vaughn Just like I had done way back then Its just hard to believe that all those days are gone But I would do anything to turn back the hands of time So that I could go back to the summer of nineteen sixty nine A year before I had turned thirteen So that I could have the opportunity to live through those days once again Because the days were filled with peace signs and love from everyone But after the war ended in Vietnam Nothing would ever be the same But I cant turn back the hands of time So for the time being I will just keep on moving on While I reminisce down memory lane
