It

IT stares at me Through the darkness I can hear IT's heavy breathing From somewhere...over there The fog envelopes Death permeates the air I can feel IT on my skin Here...there...everywhere Blood red eyes Watching over me I can see them looming larger But run...I don't dare I close my eyes And my heart beats no more As I sense IT's teeth Enter my soul © 2011 Kevin Stock *Tribute to Stephen King*

Inspiration can lead to different takes on the same thing. LOVE Poe. One of my favorite poets as well. We've got the poetry named IT market cornered!! Hope they remake the movie "IT" one day with a bigger budget...which is the way I feel about most or his earlier movies. Thank you for the add and look forward to reading more!

Wow! U where not kidding... and by the way... It * is the movie that inspired my poem "It" as well.... but I was going for a tale like ...my favorite poet A.E. Poe... and yes.. I like the mix of a funny horror poem mixed with suspense. I also like and feel the suspense of your words and all it needed was them Scarry Sharp teeth. LOL.. sure loved your poem... I wrote my poem.. like 5 months ago. so I'm a late on my post as well... take care and right back at you with a new favorite poet. Linda
