Insulting My Intelligence

There are things I can forgive I try to turn a blind eye Insult my intelligence? Don’t you dare even try! My intuition is strong It’s backed up by some facts So don’t try to pretend I’m not fooled by the acts Please search deep in your heart See who has been there for you Perhaps then you’ll discern What’s the right thing to do An angry foe I can face I can be on guard and pray But a “friend” who backbites I won’t give time of day. I guess we've all been back bite by a so called friend one time or another..and its a sad feeling but on the otherhand situations like this male us realize how few friends really are..and those few..how we would treasure them.I loved this poem..maybe cause i ve been there and knows how it feels.

Thanks, Andrea....I once had someone look me in the eye and lie to my face! The pain is bad enough, but the fact that you are considered to be foolish enough to believe the lie, well that just adds insult to injury....Oh dear...Thanks for the post....
