Inside the Mystery

Raindrops on a window race downwards The city is experiencing a rainstorm The people scurry for shelter as autos splash rain from puddles onto the sidewalk Dark clouds above It seems like the sky is weeping What is it weeping for? It is weeping for the youths who will not reach old age It is weeping for the workers who must work outside whatever the weather is It is weeping for lovers who will soon be parted Inside the mystery our hearts reach out as the rain continues to fall

"A little rain must fall before we see the rainbow"... There is always someone who is struggling with life, but maybe we can help to brighten up their days... I truly enjoyed this expressive piece of poetry. Very moving!

Beautiful thoughts on the rain weeping for everyone young and old, but it makes me sad that tragedy seems to await them all.

Like the rain we too can reach to those who are less fortunate; perhaps we can make the difference. // paul
