I was sitting in my back yard leaning against a small tree, semi dozing. It's about 4 acres enclosed inside a fence. The small doe caused me to open my eyes with a start, as it was licking me behind my ear. It was tame and belonged to a neighbor. It turned, made one leap, and on the second leap cleared the 6 ft fence some 60 to 80 feet away. Gosh, that was beautiful.
