In the Meadow
With you in the meadow
secretly secluded
caught within passion’s throes;
heads spin in fairy rings
as our love overflows.
With you in the meadow
tenderly embracing
lips seeking kisses sweet;
lost in love’s labyrinth,
our two hearts skip a beat.
With you in the meadow
reclining lazily
on a bed of flowers;
our hearts bound by daisy chains,
we make love for hours.
With you in the meadow
wantonly contented
I while the day away;
your promised forget- me-not’s,
enticing me to stay.
With you in the meadow
reluctantly parting
in twilight’s honeyed fall;
you are my rainbow’s end
my precious golden all.
