In the Boonies
We'd had enough of city life,
and decided to live off the grid,
up in the wilderness of Montana,
just me and my husband Sid…
We lived in a little cabin
that was powered by a generator,
living like pioneers,
we didn't even have any neighbors...
One day we were collecting some wood
for our fireplace,
when we heard some rustling sound,
coming from someplace…
We looked and we
smelled something bad,
thinking it must be a bear,
got our guns poised,
in case we had to blast…
Stunned by what we saw,
because it was a Sasquatch...
coming closer and closer to us!
We stood our ground
and huddled together,
frozen like,
and not making a sound,
ready to shoot a couple of rounds...
The hairy thing was now
only a couple feet away,
smiled at us and said…
"Howdy neighbors,
welcome to the woods,
can I borrow a cup
of sugar and 1 egg?"
