In Solitude
Solitude is a state of mind
Can be in company yet find
Your alone
In solitude you can walk the dales
Within your mind the sunlight pales
If your alone
You throw bread at flying seagulls
In solitude not so much fun
When your alone
A single breeze rustles the trees
Making branches sway with ease
So lonely alone
I sit and paint my mind elsewhere
Creating a painting without that flair
No one to share, when alone
In solitude my thoughts are deep
In solitude I try to sleep
Wishing you were here.
