In Response To My First Poem
First poem
Gentle the touch of smooth brushing kisses.
Softly I'll come to you, Softly I will.
Tender the night of eye's hungered wishes,
Calm are the hearts beating faster still.
Warm is the breath that crosses the spaces.
When love is the spring to time's winding clock.
Tremors from fingers that leave trailed traces.
Gives patience the key, that opens the lock.
Lost in the moment when melding is King.
Traveling in sync from rushes within.
Finding paradise in flight without wing,
Sacred, vulnerable rejoicing in.
Time is in motion and time will stand still.
Softly I'll come to you, Softly I will.
Response
Smooth are the kisses, textured and warm.
Softly I welcome you, Softly I do.
Closed are the eyes as touch will inform,
To welcome the love we find that is true.
Close is the space when breath is taken,
And the passing of time begins to slow.
Traces from fingers, never forsaken,
Opens the lock to the hearts now aglow.
King in a realm where lovers are merging.
Found by the altar of emotions pure.
Where just needs and paradise are surging,
And the sanctity of love is secure.
Time is in motion and time will ensue.
Softly I come to you, Softly I do.
