In My Memories

In my memories… In my memories, I am lost. How do I remember who to trust? What else is there? But storm; Hot and cold, never warm. How can I find it when it is gone? Spring was brief, gone with dawn. How do I remember such and such? Pain in my body, much too much Which is better, wine or vine? Grapes are the soul of what becomes wine. Where am I going to take a walk? No one is there with whom to talk. Looking for a way to find supreme, One day, I’ll wake up, and it’s all a dream. Haloo 10/10/15 For Mom

Deep feelings, deep sympathy, dear poet. I also tried to imagine the suffering of an aged person...(Alzheimer like) titled Lotte at Weimar (not only for rhyme). Well, kind of ”common recollections”...

Hi Pashang, another powerfully emotional write from your pen. Life has a way of changing on us as we grow older, we have to change with it as we can. Our pains and sorrows grow greater and our joys become less as our memories begin to fade. An excellent write Pashang, up to your usual high standard. One would wish this to be a dream....Vlad. A seven for this one my friend....Vlad.

My dear Friend, you are absolutely right. I wrote this for my 84 year old mother with some degree of Alzheimer. After certain age the trajectory of the aging is no longer a projectile. There are big drops along the way, like a stair step, some steps are bigger than others. She is falling and I am too. Thanks my friend, Pray for us...
