In Love's Hand
Lovers walking hand in hand
all the world over love to do
expressing their affections so firm
like the first time they met anew
Holding hands is real first sign
that love is real for each other
clasped together in likened embrace
wishing never to let it smother
Once those hands touch each other
tinkling each others finger tip
love's birth has come forth
tasting like good wine's first sip
United indeed in love
bound together to each one
skin touching skin like glue
cleaving both never to turn
What a picture of love
so full of colour one can see
a simple token of hearts desire
as at least two will agree
