In Love
I live in love,
with its frilly feelings,
hung in every corner,
with its comforting,
fires burning in every room,
with the very core,
of it's essence,
being prepared,
on the stove,
and baked to perfection,
in the oven.
Yes, I live in love,
with it's fragrant,
chocolatey, vanilla, scent,
waiting to nuzzle me,
to it's welcoming breast,
waiting to gently stroke my brow,
rub my back,
caress my cheek,
waiting to banish,
today, and yesterday,
bringing my focus,
back to now,
where I live
in love.
