The Outsiders

By Laura July 19, 2016 I'm just a passenger in the day Sometimes I wish I wasn't gay Cause when I reach to hold her hand Stand all the stares I can withstand If we were just a he and a she Just think how free we both could be Its revolution in a kiss These fading ghosts I sometimes miss I hold her hand where love is loud I kiss her lips to show we're proud Cause pride is found inside the tears The ones we shed with all our fears We may not earn approving smiles But loving her is worth my while And as I lay awake at night I pull her close; she feels so right
