In a Perfect World
In a perfect world
There would be a boy for every girl
The grass would be green
The rivers always clean
The sky would stay blue
Love would be true
Jobs would be fun
You wouldn't need a gun
But that's not true some times life is hard
There is a brown spot in your yard
Your job is not fun
You better own a gun
The sky is not clear
Love turns to fear
Maybe it is a perfect world
You have to earn the trust of your girl
Life needs to be hard, there are lessons to learn
You should always have to work, for the money you earn
If the sun was always shining sending warm golden beams
That would be a world that doesn't have dreams
