I'M Not An Expert

I'm not an expert at anything, but an optimist at many. A carpenter I am not, but I can still bang a nail. My artist's hands are not skilled but my paint still flows to the palette and my brush still strokes a canvas. Parenthood will forever confuse and astound me, but I never give up and never give in. My typing skills are lacking but I continue to write, a pencil and paper will do me just fine. I may not be famous or gorgeous or genius but I have my wits and they’ll do me just fine.
