I'M Alive
What has he got that made me stride
With great amazement along the shore?
We were together side by side
Grasping the moment like never before.
He took the lead, gave me a hand
Through the darkness that he had lit,
And in conjunction over the sand
We marked some signs firmly knit.
One letter, one rate, one date,
He seemed to be the one
Who with his smile shaped my fate,
With a care that had just begun.
Since then I felt no need to strive
The moon is full and I'm ALIVE!
