If Life Was Lived, With Truth The Highest Goal If life could be lived in blessed total peace, And love of evil ever dare to cease, We could enjoy much more the moon and stars, and fear far less the mind made prison bars. If we but found sweet truth a worthy friend, ally in our long journey to the end, Blessed weight upon honor's majestic scales, clearly heaven sent, one that never fails. Righteousness, delivers its on winning path, against dark foes and evil's constant wrath, We see man finds easiest - lust and greed, and thinks too often violence solves his needs.
