If Instant Is Cure

If instant is cure And distant is obscure What has become of hope Of the things beyond scope How then will faith lean To God who is unseen To the naked eye Whose vision is limited and shy How many can take assurance That chance is embedded in endurance And pay sweat and tears Yearning for rewarding years Easy choices we have had Between good and bad But the true test Is between easy and best

Nothing in life is worth having, if we did not earn it honestly and with hard work. And, sometimes it takes a little bit of hope, too. You expressed this so well here, Kennedy. I loved the flow of your words here and the rhyme, as well. Great work!...Thank you very much for the kind comments.
