Ice Cold

Ice Cold Leave summer behind before it starts Take to the molten core of Earth Too much heat and fire is not enough Make it hotter, burn, dissolve the calm Winding roads turn straight under high pressure Temperature rises, blazes passages Folds them inside out with endless furor Ashes build on lava flows Harsh and slow, down where low roads go Start a furnace wild, hard to handle Melt. Feel fever. Sweat. Take in infernos breathe Touch the sun before it sets There is nothing left but heat So be content. Fire is your friend
