I Went To the Cemetery

I went to the cemetery to visit Mom and Dad. Seeing their headstone made me feel sad. This was the first time I've been to the cemetery since Dad died because I've been unable to drive. Seeing their headstone choked me up because it pointed out that neither of them are still alive. I told Mom that she was the world's greatest mother and that I love her and that I will see her again. She and I won't be parted forever, we will be reunited at some point in the future but only God knows when. Before I left the cemetery, I told Dad that I love him too. I will go back to see them again and that certainly is true. (Dedicated to Charles and Agnes Johnson who died in 2013.)
