I want to be the man in that black hat Sitting down under where the Aussies do play Drinking in barrels, Bundaberg ale Smiling under my cool black hat Now I haven’t his hat Nor that cool Aussie accent I don’t live down under Not even drinking that Bundaberg thunder So I sit in a bar Up north with Santa Whose hat is jolly and so very red Not a lady in site and this night I do dread Left with no options, no none at all I steal Vigleys’ hat and man do I feel tall As I strolled by the ladies all along the beach They stare at my hat and oh my do they screech!!!!

The words are descriptive and lively, slapped onto the page with a poetic hand and a brilliant wit that captures the reader's imagination and attention from the beginning and delivers to the end. The words are colorful with a realistic sound, adding a flavor to this saga of the hat. Emile.

Yes Mr Viv is our own British version of crocodile Dundee - you can see him regularly at the water park wrestling the inflatable toys. Seriously Arthur, Mr Viv lives in the city I grew up in so it is so lovely reminiscing - hey maybe one fine day I may even meet up with him:-) Hugs Jan xx

G'day Arthur... a nice tribute to a bonzer bloke whose style of writing had me thinking he lived beyond the black stump and pretended he was English. Eating cold pies and drinking warm beer gave him away - Lindsay

A bonzer verse, mate, too right- I'm stoked that you went to the trouble, but worth the wait, too right, cobber. Good onya. I may just hit the turps later to celebrate.... and never mind that you found out too late that I'm English and my Avatar was photographed in Namibia, no worries. Still a fun write, and I'm honoured. Thanks muchly Arthur. Regards, Viv
