I Walk Into His Scent

He goes to work earlier than I go to class After I’ve given him breakfast And spent some time with him I go to take my shower to get ready When I come out….he’s gone With a towel wrapped around me I walk into our bedroom... And right into the scent That he left behind I inhale the lingering fragrance of his cologne Wishing I’d gotten out a bit sooner So I could make him late for work Eileen Manassian Ghali

Yes...I'm a sensory person in every sense of the world. Scents do evoke strong emotions in me! It's just beautiful to walk into the room and be reminded that my man was JUST there. Next time...I'll hurry my shower along, and make sure I make him late...VERY LATE! ;)
