I Tell You

I tell you Don't get ahead Of your prettly small self I do not love you I tell you Don't bask in illusions If I loved you It won't be in paper-words I tell you If l loved you It will burn my heart To the navel of my soul In the stars I will etch it The smile of the sun will know I tell you Don't get overboard If I loved you I wouldn't sordidly express But I will go to the ends Of every word ever To find the best one Which will best express How I feel about you I tell you If I loved you I will pour out my heart I will bare my soul And I will go to the depths Of the whole world And the tempestuous seas For the world to know How I feel about you And no other
