I Started In Darkness

I live in dark water that surrounds me And yearn for my short journey to the light Break free of confinement and feel first breath It's there where the anxious wait for my breath As there is no one more fragile than me I've struggled for months so my eyes see light Open your heart, welcome me to your light And give me hope with my very first breath To hold me close and always cherish me To guide me through darkness, give light and breath 7/17/14 contest Tritina Challenge
