I Ponder In My Mind

I ponder in my mind Do my writing affects someone? Will anyone find peace, or can lives be changed? Is not this why I write? I’m not asking for miracles, all thought it would be nice. I’m not asking for mountains to be removed, and cast into the sea. I just hope someone can retrieve bits of wisdom. I ponder in my mind I’m asking, no hoping for a very simple change of heart, But to my surprise this is too much to ask. So I look to the stars in the sky, I look to the heavens As I ponder Has life itself become too complacent? Is it the frustration of life’s endless possibilities? Too many options? Are they beyond our reach? Or is it just common, well known manipulation. That strike at the very core of man and woman. Are we just running from the inevitable? Or are we just so self-absorbed that we cannot, see beyond our own wants and desires. Self carries a mark, this mark will carry us to our graves. Being unhappy, unfulfilled and unsatisfied. This mark becomes a scare that define us? It’s the scar of my own insecurities and failures that haunts us We cannot rise above our own selfishness and limitations. We then hold ourselves hostage. For what we did not attempt to find What we did not attempt to uncover. We ourselves become cover up in it. The mark which identifies us soon, become the mark that imprison us. For we chose nothing, recover nothing and so we are left with nothing. When Self is on the throne we see only ONE With God on the throne we become TWO And this I ponder

self gratification can really lead us wrong....weakening us to the foolish point where we think we are strong....and then one day, it all comes crashing down....and for that reason, by many, your words should be found....great write ms mack....;)
