I Love To Watch Them Sleeping.

Eyes closed to early morning hours that surround me, as sleep pours over them I am humbled by what I see, eight hours of back breaking work and overtime that weakens me to the bone six days a week and on the seventh I can't get back the time I missed at home, a wife who believes she has it all and tells me how much I'm missed in a kiss, only moments to share our day I'm sure having it all isn't this, a son eager to spread his wings and sore to make me proud, a young man I see who lives life who is happy and a bit to loud, a daughter who lights up every time she sees me, how grown up she's is, daddy's girl is who she loves to be, as I take a deep breath and ready myself for the day at hand, I take a moment to thank God for them and for making me a man, a stretch, a roll of my shoulders I know why I am this way, I'm blessed and for this I will make it through this day, for he(son) grounded me she(wife) found me and she(daughter) set my heart free, it's not easy being me but I wouldn't change a thing their love made me.
