I Looked and Found

I've never known another And suppose I never will. I've wished one way and the other, But my kind eludes me still... I know that I sound crazy, But I'm simply just unknown. I'm a lot of things, but lazy's Not an attribute I've shown... Nope, I ponder and wander To make myself known To myself and others And here's all it's shown... My mind's a constant whirlpool; My thoughts, a constant swirl. I don't know if I'm some fool In this contraption of a world... I know how to be funny, And I know how to be smart. I've little care for money, But know how to play the part... These things that I've uncovered, I did so with little thought. Having no clue I'd discovered Just what I had always sought... The most important thing I've found Is how to work the world. And though the truth's profound- I still can't seem to find a girl...
