I Like You
You put your lipstick on, wear a tight, black,
leather mini-skirt, and pick a credit card to buy
drinks for your friends, so that they can like you.
You don’t have to try so hard, to be what people
want you to be. Like You, as I like You.
Look into the mirror, and appreciate your beauty;
let your hair flow in the air freely; let your natural beauty
come out of the plastic shell, and glow around everyone;
buy time for yourself – your happiness.
You will eventually like You, as I like You.
