I Just Keep Walking
In our favorite café the other day
Standing there waiting to pay
I see you there, you spoke my name
To me you’re just an old flame
I just keep walking
I thought you were the love
God sent me from up above
You proved to be untrue
Now, I’m so over you
I just keep walking
You walk through my dreams
You’re everywhere it seems
I see your handsome face
A face time will not erase
I just keep walking
Please just let me be
You never even wanted me
You’ve found somebody new
I’m no longer in love with you
I just keep walking
Walking the floor at night
Longing to hold you tight
I try to convince myself
Try to love somebody else
I just keep walking
