I Gave All I Had To Give
They say a heart only hurts to prove it still works
Luke-warm tendancies
Are you my latest mistake?
Am I just another heart for you to break?
Am I anything?
Dammit I'm mad!
I gave all I had to give
And there's only so much I can take
Never grow a wishbone where your backbone ought to be
I'd walk from here to Africa, don't run from me
Try for you, die for you, cry and fly just to lie with you
If only you let me
Am I crazy? Crazy for feeling so lonely
Crazy, strange, mentally insane
Wacky, potty daft and nutty
I'm just me
Eyes once cried happy tears
Now arid, running on empty
No longer soul windows, just used now to see
But I've seen all I'll ever need
For Tracie's Mish Mash contest
