I Don'T Want To Be Alone Tonight
I don't want to be alone tonight
Night falls on the city...
It's been a really long day...
I see people together
their love finds it's way
So I look in the mirror
a nice man smiles back at me
and so I ask him
Why must I be alone tonight?
I go out to dinner...
Sit at a table just for one...
I see people around me
whose love's just begun...
so I start to wonder
If I'm really all right...
because, I don't...
like to be alone at night
Chorus
So many years
I've spent all alone
Never needing anyone...
An empty space...
invades my soul...
and my life's just
come undone...
and I know I
need someone...
someone who'll love me
I go to the movies...
I sit alone in my seat...
Young lovers surround me
Why can't they just let me be?
I thought I was happy
that I was doing fine...
but now I don't...
want to be alone tonight
I walk through the city...
the city that never sleeps...
I see all the beauty...
and I feel an urgent need...
Where could she be hiding?
Please let her love light shine!
'cause I can't take...
being alone again tonight
Chorus
I go do some shopping...
and what do I see?
A beautiful woman...
smiling right back at me
and so I ask her...
do you have the time?
and she says yes...
what do you have in mind?
because, I don't...
want to be alone tonight!
