I Can Fly

I can fly All I do is try Can’t be a victim to my failures Test out my wings Make sure they are strong And before long I am off again for another adventure I completed my take off that was a pleasure I can almost see the highest mountain But I have long ways to go Won’t look down below Afraid that I may fall Need to remain tall To show that I can make it Will not have fear My heart sings my cheer That I am almost at the mountain top Feel the sun rays As my LORD do prays For me to complete my tasks that he has planned No need to land Can’t rest now Victory is about to show Guiding through the air At times my vision is not clear I wipe my eyes To focus better The wind starts to pick up That’s okay I can still fly Falcons and Eagles try to chase Or redirect me I will stay on my path No one can tear me down No one will bring me down I am so close
