I Am There

I'll be there watching when you awake, this silent morning on Christmas day. The children plaing in the snow, I'll be there too, I hope you know. The snow drops falling, that is me. I'm the one that kissed your cheek. I'll see your tears silently fall, though you will not see me at all. The childrens laughter fills the air. I hear it all, I am there. The garland and lights that trim the tree, the bright star on top, that is me. I hear the distant church bells ring. I hear the angels sweetly sing. I see your sadness and dispair. I feel your heart and I am there. Now dry your tears and wipe your eyes. You will keep my spirit alive. Remember when we use to be, and cherish then the memory. I see the children full of joy, and watch them playing with their toys. The house is full, people everywhere, and in the corner an empty chair. I am there. Then everyone has taken their place, and gathered around the table for grace. Look outside through the falling snow, I'm the one with the halo. I am there.
